JRuler – The free screen ruler
0Ever wanted to know the width and height of something in terms of pixels on your screen? Unfortunately, rulers in real life don’t measure by pixels. However, there’s a software solution. The program is called JRuler, and it is used to measure objects on-screen.JRuler is easy to use: Put the “0″ mark where you want to start, and drag the bar along the line to increase or decrease the length of the ruler. Then, mouseover the part of the ruler where what you want to measure ends, and JRuler will tell you the distance between the “0″ point and where your cursor is.
You can flip the ruler horizontal to vertical to measure the height of objects as well.
JRuler is a free portable application and can be downloaded here.
