Smartphone sales have risen dramatically over the past few years, and netbook sales have been going at a steady decrease ever since. Most people see smartphones as capable of doing almost everything a laptop can do, just in a smaller and more convenient form. Some people, even with a smartphone, feel like they lack the experience of a more powerful mobile device like a laptop or tablet because of the lack of certain features. Netbooks, which are capable of running a desktop operating system fairly well and are relatively portable, can also be burdened by lack of processing power. So the question goes: is it a wise decision to buy a netbook for the extra features even if you already have a smartphone?
